NRI Medizintechnik GmbH (NRI) is a subsidiary of the internationally active SOS Oxygène group of companies (France), which is run as a family business. For more than 35 years, the name NRI Medizintechnik GmbH has been synonymous in Germany with quality, expertise and reliability in the supply of medical technology products to patients and customized services for medical facilities. The product focus includes the following supply and service areas: Home Ventilation, Respiratory and Oxygen Therapy, Sleep Diagnostics and Sleep Therapy, Pain and Infusion Therapy, Patient Monitoring and Infant Monitoring.

The industry software used at NRI was reaching its limits due to the increased requirements of the market and of NRI itself. It supported the business processes no longer to a sufficient degree. The software was to be replaced by a modern and future-proof system. The standard of the new software solution should reflect as many of NRI's requirements as possible in order to support the business processes efficiently.
In a first phase, the core processes and core requirements were recorded and the coverage in their standard systems was checked with software providers. Based on the results, the software providers were determined, who presented their software systems in detail during a presentation. With the collected commercial and technical information, a decision template was developed and, together with NRI, the software system to be used in the future was selected.
Overall project management and technical support
The management of NRI Medizintechnik recognized early that the introduction of an ERP system is a topic for which the necessary experience is lacking in-house and free time capacities were missing at the specialists of NRI. Therefore IMPRIVO took over the overall project management for the implementation of the selected ERP system San6 from TopM. In addition IMPRIVO supported the specialist departments in process definition, software testing, data maintenance and change management.
Successful start with new ERP system
After well-founded user acceptance tests the software was transferred into productive operation. All relevant functionalities were fully available from day one. The number of deliveries and the level of all other IT processes immediately reached the level previously realized with the old software, and in some cases exceeded it.
NRI Medizintechnik and IMPRIVO are looking back on a successful system conversion. Based on this success further optimizations will be implemented together.
